The 6km race course starts at the port of Nea Makri following the coastal zone to the beach of Marathon, along the entire seafront. Most part of the route is on pedestrian area. Both Runs are “Out-and-Back”. Bellerophon or Bellerophontes, and his horse Pegasus, were heroes in Greek mythology and his greatest feat was killing Chimera.
